I was so excited that Lynne came so far and she and Julie made time with all their other activities to come out and spend the day. It was AMAZING! That comes nowhere close to how it really felt. A beloved Aunt once told me, 'you just never know what the day may bring'. She has since passed and I often think of that when days like this happen. So often, we are caught up in all that goes wrong in a day, that we miss the important moments, just the side effect of our society and how things are. Another saying I would share, 'Life should not be measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breathe away'. I know for myself, I am guilty of rushing through the day tending to things, and worrying about what happens next. This experience was so fun and certainly one that will stay with me forever. Great friends and great times.
I met Julie many years ago in a local quilt shop and we have been partners in life and in quilting ever since. Julie met Lynne over their blog interactions and introduced Lynne to me. Another click, we have been together ever since.
I want to share so much more, but I need to stop now and go the hospital to be with mom. I just hope you will visit Julie and Lynne's blogs to read the whole story. It is likely you already have, but if not, please do it, you will really enjoy it.
Off for now, and remember to find the JOY in Today!
Hugs to all! Please forgive any typos or poor grammar, I am not quite up to par right now and rushing through things, yet again!
